10 Natural Skin Care Tips


10 Natural Skin Care Tips that can speed up the recovery and maintain beautiful skin:

  1. Eat vegetable oils, nuts and seeds to get a daily dose of Vitamin E which helps prevent the formation of wrinkles. Vitamin E is also sold over the counter in drug stores and even some hypermarkets in the form of capsules or in the form of oil. Applying Vitamin E oil directly on your skin will speed up the healing of scars and wounds.  
  2. We have all heard it before (because it’s true!). Drink water, water & water! 
  3. Avoid products which ingredients include Parabens! Some studies show that it is potentially dangerous and linked Parabens to cancer. 
  4. Use Panthenol cream for dry and scarred skin! Panthenol cream will help speed up the healing process. It improves hydration, reduces itching and inflammation of the skin and accelerates and improves healing of epidermal wounds. 


  5. Apply Honey and lemon to your skin!
    Making a mask of Honey and fresh Lemon juice a couple of times a week will help reduce pigmentation of the skin by lighten the skin and keeping it moisturized. Keep mask on for 15minunts and rinse.
     
  6. Use potato on your skin to reduce swelling under the eyes and lighten the complexion of the skin. Potato helps control and prevents acne, pimples and blackheads due to its natural antibacterial property. 
  7. Have a generous daily intake of Fruit that contains Vitamin C to slow the rate of free radical damage- which are unstable molecules that damage collagen and cause skin dryness, fine lines and wrinkles. 
  8. Keep out of the sun  especially at the most dangerous hours of the day from 11:00am-14:00pm! Too much exposure to sunlight can damage the layers of your skin leading to early deterioration of the skin and wrinkles. 10 minutes of direct sun a day is more than enough! Also remember to always where sunscreen or a moisturizer that contains SPF. 
  9. Let your skin breath! Don’t keep you make up on 24/7, sleeping with make-up on will close the pores of the skin creating blemishes and blackheads. Keep your face naturally beautiful by steering away from heavy makeup especially in summer.  
  10. Last but not least… Sleep! These are the hours our body recuperates and  rejuvenates from all the stress we apply on it throw-out the day. Make sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep a day!
