Here is my quick and easy recipe for tuna pasta
Portion for 2 people
you will need:
1/2 bag of regular spaghetti
1 regular size tin of tuna in vegetable oil,
1 onion shopped small or grated,
2 ripe tomatoes,
Tomato souse (not ketch up! the other kind),
Olive oil,
1 or 2 teaspoons of sugar,
Stem of Parsley,
Black pepper & Salt
Oh and one vegetable stock!
How to prepare:
Souse
Lightly fry the shopped up onion and the tuna with a dash of Olive oil (because the tuna has oil you wont need a lot of olive oil, or you could drain the oil from the tuna and just use the olive oil)
Once the tuna and onion have been lightly fried, add 2 grated tomatoes and the tomato souse. Then add salt, pepper and sugar (add as much sugar as you like, i find that 1 or 2 teaspoons are sweet enough, the tomato and onion also give a sweet taste so if you prefer you can omit the sugar completely)
Pasta
Boil water and pasta and add one vegetable stock.( if you don't like stock, just ad a bit of salt)
How to Serve
Once your spaghetti is al-dente find a large serving dish-bowl where you can put in the whole content of pasta and souse.
Toss both together as if you were going to toss a salad. (if the souse is to thick and needs some liquid, use a 1/4 glass of the water you boiled the pasta in and mix it in to the souse)
decorate with a few parsley leaves.
That is my quick and easy way for Tuna Pasta recipe!
Hope you enjoy.
