5 Tips for easy Traveling with baby

We spent the full of Friday traveling. It took us 2 planes but we are finally in Lisbon!

I was nervous that baby Mario was going to be miserable during the flyghts, but luckily even when he was up and about he stayed most of the time in good spirits.

This is us at Larnaca airport before our first diparture.

Here are a few tips I learned along the way:

1. A new toy may keep baby intertained for a good while on the plane!
2. Having a botle of milk, juice or water for baby to drink during take off will help baby's ears from not bothering him (poping).
3. Baby enjoyed listening to his favorite playlist on the plane and this kept him calm as the sounds were familiar.
4. Explain everything before it happens. Even if your baby is small and you doubt that he/she will understand. Explain in simple terms (I explained to my baby that we were going to hear a big noise just before touch down; then I simulated the noise with my mouth. So when the actual noise arrised he did not get a fright and probably was the only baby not crying during landing.)
5.Warm clothes. Even though it is full  blast summer and the sun is out to get you. Remember to take some warm clothes while traveling for you and your little ones. Aircondition in the airports and planes can be harsh so take some warm socks, long sleeves and full onsies.
