Started preparing the baby's room yesterday...
As we do not know our baby's gender we are keeping it gender neutral but colorful.I started the process by looking around the house for all the little things left over from older projects and that i have been keeping such as ribbons, peaces of material, Styrofoam and anything else to get the creativity working.
So i ended up finding some wooden letters that i had purchased a while ago for a projects when Christening my sisters baby boy, some felt in 3 different colors and a piece of Styrofoam from when we purchased a piece of furniture.
Step 1: I combined these materials together by cutting the Styrofoam in to 3 same size cubes.
Step 2: Laying the cubes over the felt i measured the amount of felt i would need to cover the cubes and then with a scissors i cut them to size.
Step 3: I sowed the loose sides of the felt closed. On the last stitch i made a little loop so i can hang the cubes possible to be a part of the baby's hanging mobile.
Obviously i am not the best sower and this is a little clumsy.
Step 4: Using glue i added the letters of the alphabet to the cubes.
All Done!
